Monday
Cedar Street is hosting an open mic night starting at 7 p.m. Grab a couple of friends, a cocktail, and enjoy the ending of summer with some local music.

Tuesday
In honor of Austin Fashion Week there is a free runway show with free beer, booze, and bands at Nettie’s Cloth & Ink. Local designer Nettie Tiso will have her work showcased and there will be food trucks and a food bike for your pleasure. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Wednesday
Catch The Triashas at their free in store performance at Waterloo Records. The show is at 5 p.m., but get there early because the store gets packed.

Thursday
KTSW 89.9 is kicking off their concert series and celebrating UTOPiAfest with a free pre-party and free pizza. The show is 18 and up and will feature UTOPiAfest bands like Sour Bridges, Digital Antique, and Hard Proof Afrobeat. Doors at 9 p.m. at Triple Crown.

Friday
Austin Nightlife Magazine is having a free August release party with an open bar. The
party is at the Belmont at 10 p.m. You’ll get a copy of the new issue and a swag bag with goodies from local vendors. RSVP and early arrival is highly encouraged. RSVP to this email RSVP@austinnightlifemagazine.com with your name, occupation/organization, and party number.

Saturday
Trace is hosting a Lick-ety Split Ice Cream Social this Saturday at the W Hotel at 1 p.m. featuring samples of their summer favorites. The entry fee is just a school supplies item to benefit SafePlace. They will even be offering “adult” varieties. Extra scoops with also be available for $2 each.

Sunday
Join Chicken George, Chorizo Funk, and Abe the Assassin for a night of fresh beats and free barbecue at Molotov Lounge. Show starts at 6 p.m. If you RSVP through the Do512 page there will be no cover charge.
