Deadly Conduct: Officers responded to a fire alarm at the dormitory. During the investigation, the officers detected smoke coming from a 3rd floor room and noted the window was open. Officers located a cardboard box that appeared to have been burned laying on the ground outside the building. UT staff and the UT Police Officers were able to locate the resident. The UT student informed the officers he had started a fire inside the box, doused the fire, and thrown the box outside. Occurred on: 12-04-11, at 9:48 PM.
Crime Prevention Tip: Really folks, do we need to stress “Don't play with matches and start fires inside your dormitory room.” As everyone knows at times we have joked about the Aggies and the Sooners in the Campus Watch, today turnabout is fair play.
