Possession of Alcohol by a Minor / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: UT Police Officers responded to a smell of burning marijuana inside a 5th floor dormitory room. During the investigation, the officers located two UT students inside the room. One student informed the officer he had indeed been smoking marijuana inside the room. The student surrendered a 3-inch glass pipe that contained burned marijuana residue inside the bowl. When asked if there was anything else in the room the officers needed to know about, the other student removed a 750ml bottle of Everclear from his suitcase. The officers issued the first student a court appearance citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the second student received a citation for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor.
