Theft / Criminal Trespass: The UT Police Department received information a non-UT subject had removed a mountain bicycle from the bike racks located on the south side of the building. During the investigation, the officer located the bicycle as well as the suspect at the intersection of 5th Street and Red River. The subject was taken into custody for theft. As the investigation continued, the officers soon learned the subject had been given a prior Criminal Trespass Warning. The subject was transported to Central Booking. Additional charges for Criminal Trespass were filed. Recovered loss value: $1,350.00. Occurred on: 2-13-12, at 8:26 PM.
