Public Intoxication: A UT staff member discovered an intoxicated student inside the lobby area of the dormitory. During the investigation, the officers located the student and detected a very strong odor of alcohol on the student’s breath. The student informed the officers he was coming from a SXSW party that was held west of campus. When asked for his ID, the student handed the officer a credit card. The student displayed a number of clues that indicated he was intoxicated. The student was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 3-12-12, at 4:36 AM.
