Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: A UT Staff member discovered the
odor of burning marijuana coming from a 10th floor dormitory room.
The responding officers confirmed the odor was coming from a 10th
floor dorm room. During the investigation, the resident informed the
officers that neither he nor his roommate did illegal drugs. He had
entered his room and had detected the odor hours earlier. During a
search of the room, officers located a green glass pipe containing
burned marijuana residue in the bowl. The student informed the

Assist Outside Agency: UT Police Officers located a UT student that had two outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrants for Burglary of Habitation and Criminal Conspiracy. The student was taken into custody for the warrants and was transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 4-19-11, at 5:01 PM.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Two UT students were discovered sitting inside the 8th floor stairwell passing a 10-inch blue and white glass bong back and forth. When asked if they knew why the police had been called, both replied, “Yes we messed up.” The officers issued both subjects a court appearance citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and confiscated the 10-inch glass bong. Occurred on: 4-20-11, at 11:43 PM.
