East coast lyrical warriors bring the heat to Austin with a sold out show at Emo's East.
On Saturday night Emo's East briefly became a Shaolin temple as legendary east coast hip-hop gods Wu-Tang Clan blazed through Austin with a sold-out show. With the exception of Ol' Dirty Bastard (RIP) every member of Wu-Tang was present and able to bring each of their individual lyrical talents to the stage.
Without a doubt Method Man and RZA seemed to take over as MC's for the night, getting the crowd amped up and leading the group through most of the songs. After a long and storied career the Wu-Tang fan base is big as ever and instead of just milking it for what it's worth, the group seems to be taking themselves seriously and putting it all in to their performances.
