Everyone needs a little color in their life and what better way to do it then while enjoying a cool Saturday morning. This past weekend hundreds of Austinites dawned white shirts and braved the weather to participate in The Color Run, a traveling 5K in the United States. The event focuses on having a good time with family and friends and less on ones speed. Every kilometer participants are dosed in a new shade of the 100% natural and safe color dust. Individuals and four legged friends of all ages are welcomed. After the race participants rejoice with a color throwing festival. Clouds of color dust fill the air while hundreds of people laugh and dance.
