PHOTOS: Holi Festival

The Hindu Students Association hosted an event March 24 called “Holi,” a traditional Hindu holiday that celebrates the arrival of spring by throwing colored neon powder called “rang” at fellow participants while dancing. The diversity present at the event is one of the major goals of Holi, for the powdered rang breaks down class, race and gender by making everyone look the same.
