Rodney Terry to Fresno State

Longhorns assistant coach Rodney Terry was named the new head coach at Fresno State

Mack Brown isn't the only one that has to deal with coaching changes during the offseason.

Today, Longhorns basketball assistant coach Rodney Terry was formally introduced the new head coach at Fresno State.

“For everyone here in our program, this is a bittersweet day," head coach Rick Barnes said. "We are so excited for Rodney as he deserves this opportunity. But at the same time, we’re sad to be losing him. Rodney has been such a huge part of our program’s success over the last nine years."

Terry becomes the fifth assistant coach under Rick Barnes hired as a head coach for a new squad. That list includes Ricky Stokes (Va. Tech), Rob Lanier (Siena), Frank Haith (Miami) and Ken McDonald (Western Kentucky).
