During the investigation, the victim informed the officer, he had seen a large group of students standing around his property, when they left, so did his property. Loss value: $217.00. Theft: UT Police Officers received notification a non-UT subject had stolen a mountain bicycle from the bike racks located on the north side of the building. During the investigation, the officers located the subject riding away from campus. The officers took the subject into custody for Theft and transported him to Central Booking. Recovered value: $1,400.00. Occurred on: 10-07-11, at 7:19 PM.

Theft: A bright orange Dawes mountain bicycle was discovered unsecure and missing a front tire. During the investigation, the officer was able to locate the registered owner. The owner informed the officer he had secured his bicycle to the bike racks located on the west side of Belmont Hall. Upon his return, his bicycle frame and rear tire were missing. The front tire was still secured to the bike rack. Recovered value: $200.00. Occurred on: 9-23-11.
